Company History
Prairie View Industries has evolved into the leading manufacturer in the world for multifold aluminum wheelchair ramps, as well as the premier designer of food service equipment in the country.
From our humble beginnings at Prairie View, Kansas in 1991, to our current 135,000 square foot facility in Fairbury, Nebraska, a lot of things have changed, but two things have stayed the same: our commitment to quality and family values.
Richard Allen, President and Founder of Prairie View Industries, loves challenges. The extent of the product lines offered at PVI makes that very evident. The company has seen massive growth since 1991. His insight, creativity and wisdom to treat his employees and customers like family has given PVI the credibility it has needed to succeed.
Prairie View Industries has a very bright future. We will strive to create new products as well as continually improving our current ones. We will also continue to break down barriers to help people lead more productive and active lives.
Corporate Mission and Vision
Prairie View Industries' mission has not changed since 1991 when Richard Allen, (President/Founder), built the very first ramp. It is to help mobility challenged people to lead more active, productive and happier lives. We strive every day to improve designs for better adaptability in the everyday world. We also encourage customer input and are more than willing to adapt to specific needs.
Our Food Service line was started in 1999. It has grown every year since and is now a leader in the industry. We strive to have the highest quality equipment in both Stainless Steel and Aluminum and the best customer service. We will continue to maintain inventory levels for quick delivery. As in our ramp division, our food service line is growing do to our willingness to listen and build to our customers needs.
Prairie Views' mission and vision are both quite simple. We are a family owned company that sincerely wants to grow as a family for our company, our employees, our customers, and our community. By continuing to grow our reputation in the marketplace, we not only service our customers, but we maintain a way of life for our 80+ employees, which in turn helps to keep our small community strong.
